Learn Your Rights After a Mastectomy: If you’ve been diagnosed with breast cancer and need to have a mastectomy, you have certain rights under the Women’s Health and Cancer Rights Act of 1998. Learn about what benefits your health plan is required to provide.

Your health plan or issuer is required to provide you with a notice of your rights under WHCRA when you enroll in the health plan, and then once each year.
