America’s Great Outdoors Initiative

America’s Great Outdoors: A Promise to Future Generations is the President’s initiative for preserving our natural heritage. Instead of dictating policies, this initiative turns to local, grassroots programs and seeks better partnerships between the federal government and states, tribes, and local communities.
